Regulation Oriana Concert Wear
So you're in Oriana and you've got your black dress and your pearl earrings. Here's the rundown on how you should look and what more or less you should wear!
- Your Dress should be hemmed/taped/pinned/stapled for the photo, but should definately be permanently hemmed for the concert. The hem should hit the front of your shoes.
- Black Nylons are necessary. You can use black tights if you'd like, but it must be black on the bottom--no flesh-toned skin should be visible.
- Black Shoes, preferably closed-toed. Note that should be able to stand in these shoes somewhat comfortably for about an hour, so it might be wise to have a smaller heel. No clunky shoes (aka thick soled, thick heeled) either, please.
- Hair needs to be pulled off of the neck and back from the face. A ponytail won't cut it for concerts--it needs to be styled.
- Make-up--think in terms of stage makeup--the more, the better. You need a shade of "street-walker red" lipstick (it must be BRIGHT). Blush is useful, too.
- Jewelry--of course, you need your Oriana pearl earrings (both of them!). Nothing should be on your neck or wrists (AKA necklaces, bracelets). Rings on your fingers are okay.
