Discantus is a latin term meaning, "We sing." Discantus is a small chamber ensemble of 9-16 Oriana Singers members. Auditions for Discantus occur during the first two weeks of every semester. The repertoire varies anywhere from English madrigals, to jazz arrangements. Discantus, and the other Penn State chamber choirs (Sine Nomine and Cantate), are directed by Choral Music Education interns. |
