Welcome!
Penn State Christian Grads is a community of grad students and postdocs that seek to encourage and support one another to connect deeply with God, one another, their calling as scholars, and the mission of helping others do the same so that:
• Every grad student on campus can explore the gospel with someone they know.
• Grad students connect with others to deepen their relationship with God and to be equipped
to walk by faith, integrate their faith, communicate their faith, and multiply their faith.
• Grad students are encouraged and mobilized to walk with God for a lifetime,
to embrace His calling for their life, and to help build spiritual movements everywhere.

Regular Events
Weekly Gathering
6:45pm - 8:30pm on Sundays
Memorial Lounge, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center (on campus)
Join us in the Memorial Lounge of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center (on campus) for our weekly gathering, on Sunday evenings beginning on August 21st. It’s a great time to connect with other grad students from all over campus, worship together, study Scripture together, and explore how Christ can transform and impact our lives as grad students. Afterwards, we hang out together at the Creamery, someplace downtown, or at a PSCG member’s home.
Weekly Prayers
1:00p –2:00pm on Thursdays
Room 118, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center
This will be a time open for anyone to come and pray about anything that's a burden on their heart with other PSCG members. If you have any prayer requests but are unable to make it to the prayer time, please email David Doughty (you can remain anonymous if you wish).
Hanging at the Hollemans
9:00pm - 11:00pm on Thursdays
Ashley & Heather Holleman residence
Feel free to join us at the Holleman residence to hang out and fellowship with one another, often while watching TV, playing board games, and/or watching a movie! For more info or directions contact Ashley Holleman.
Word Groups
Join with one or two others to grow in your understanding of Scripture, apply it to your life, and practice talking about it with your peers using a devotional tool known as S.O.R.T. For more information, contact Kerrie Schmehl.
Missional Communities
Imagine being part of a group of grad students where you could connect deeply with one another, grow in your walk with God, and together help bring the gospel within arm's reach of every one of your colleagues and/or circle of friends. Groups like that are being launched all over campus. We call them missional communities.
Missional communities are our expressions of life groups, or small groups, within PSCG. They are essentially "life groups plus". They have the familiar components and characteristics of typical life groups (Bible study, prayer, fellowship), but they also have a strong missional, or ministry, component. That is, a missional community is a small group of friends where you grow in your relationship with God and help others in the group do the same. And a missional community is also a small group of friends that helps you develop the heart and ability to team up with others to reach out and minister to your friends.
For more information please contact Ashley Holleman. If you would like to find out more about the missional community for married grad students, please contact Dan and Kerrie Schmehl.
